The church in London warmly welcomes you

The church in London resumption of in person meetings

As believers, we are a meeting people who do not forsake meeting together, and we will continue to do so until the Lord returns (Heb. 10:24-25

Given the removal of the UK Government’s guidance for the safe use of places of worship the church has resumed most face-to-face meetings.

Burden for Halls in London for the increase and spread of the church

We are burdened that the Lord would increase and spread the church in London. London is a city with a population of approximately 9.5 million people in 32 boroughs. Surely within this city, in so many neighbourhoods, there is a need for people to be saved, come to the full knowledge of the truth and be brought into the genuine church as the testimony of Jesus…We feel it would be marvelous if the Lord could raise up a hall within each of the 32 boroughs.

…As part of this burden we believe the Lord is leading us to obtain properties as meeting halls for the strengthening and enriching of the church-life. Up to now, we have only hired rooms by the hour, but for many years we have been looking to acquire properties for the halls to meet, to serve, and to be blended with one another.

With all those who call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ in every place, who is theirs and ours.

1 Corinthians 1:2b

The church in London, warmly welcomes you. We are believers in the Lord Jesus Christ who have personally received Him as our Saviour. He is the most excellent and enjoyable person. We love Him and endeavour to give Him the first place in all things. We rejoice to be cleansed by the blood of Jesus, God’s Son, born again of the Father’s divine life, and filled with the Holy Spirit.

We hold the faith which is common to all the believers (Titus 1:4; Jude 3):

The Bible is the complete divine revelation, inspired word by word by God through the Holy Spirit (2 Pet. 1:21; 2 Tim. 3:16)
God is uniquely one, yet triune — the Father, the Son, and the Spirit (1 Tim. 2:5a; Matt. 28:19)

About Us

The church in London is not our name—it’s our description. As such, it’s an inclusive title, not an exclusive one. We gather together simply as believers of the Lord in this city, and we receive as our brothers and sisters all who believe in Jesus Christ. Likewise, we warmly welcome guests and visitors who are not Christians.
